Improving access to, and the quality of, helps and companies for older adults and other people with disabilities is an HHS coverage priority and is seen all through HHS applications. Intensive care items have considerably higher SIRs, greater variety of catheter-days, and show less reductions in these indicators of progress than within the non ICU setting. The difference in CAUTI reductions between ICUs and non-ICU settings have been highlighted in analysis of each NHSN and CUSP for CAUTI knowledge. The 10% goal for CAUTI reduction in this APG effort represents a composite goal that displays higher reductions in non-ICU settings and lesser reductions in ICUs.
